The new Nintendo Switch 2 console: what's new?

This long-awaited successor to the popular games console will be called Switch 2. As the name suggests, the new console retains similarities to its predecessor.

The first part of the video shows the key difference from the first Switch model - the Switch 2 will be larger in both body and diagonal size, and the screen will still be surrounded by a large bezel.

This time, Nintendo has opted for a less vibrant design colour palette. The new Switch 2 console is almost entirely black, with subtle accents of colour under the joysticks.

The new console will be easy to pair with TVs, allowing users to play on the big screen. In addition, the joystick modules can be separated and used separately or integrated into a single control unit.

By the way, those who plan to play on the go will notice that the unit's kickstand has been redesigned and looks much sturdier than the original Switch.

The price of this console is expected to be around USD 400. Also, it is not yet clear when this device will be available in Lithuania.
